Vadeb Direct Drum Drying System

The Vadeb® Direct Drum Drying system (DDD system) is one of Vandenbroek International’s drying systems. With the DDD drying system the product is directly heated. The exhaust gas flows directly into the rotating drum.

Other Details DDD System

The maximum drum inlet temperature is 650º Celsius. The total volume of the dryer exhaust is treated by de-dusting equipment and if needed, scrubber/condenser equipment. By recycling a part of the dryer exhaust gas to the dryer, the amount of airborne gas to the stack is strongly reduced.

Highly Flexible in Capacity

The Direct Drying system has a high flexibility in capacity using the allowable variation in inlet temperature. The system has a low energy consumption and low emission levels of NOx, CO and odour nuisance.

  • Temperature drum inlet range: 200-650º Celsius
