Design Options Drum Dryers
Vandenbroek International has different drying design options for optimal drying efficiency for various types of products. Our drum dryers can operate with almost any hot gas as a heat-transfer medium with a temperature range of 200-800°C, depending on the type of drying, the type of product and the required evaporation capacity.
Available methods of heat transfer
The following design options (drying processes) are available:
- Direct Drum Drying, direct heat transfer (highly flexible in capacity)
- Indirect Drum Drying, indirect type of heat transfer (ideal for CHP applications)
- Combined Drum Drying, combining direct and indirect drying (compliant with the most stringent environmental and safety standards)
