Advanced Rotary Drum

Thanks to the advanced design of our rotary drum dryer, a large risk for fire hazards is prevented. A few characterizations of the drying process are:

  • Fast initial evaporation
  • Low temperatures during post drying

The product will never get warmer than the heating air. Read more about the drying process of our rotary drum.

Rotating Drum » heart of drying system

Heart of the Vadeb drying system is the convective drying process in a specially designed multi-pass rotating drum.

More about the rotating drum

The dryer operates with almost any hot gas as a heat transfer medium within a temperature range of 200 – 800 °Celsius. Since the drum-outlet temperature is approx. 100 °Celsius, the temperature of the final product will never be over 90 °Celsius, which eliminates a great deal of risk for fire hazards during operation. With regard to sludge drying, the rotating drums are available in evaporation capacity ranges from 0.5 ton/hr (RS-100) to 20.0 tons/hr (RS-3000).
