The drying systems of Vandenbroek International have the built-in possibility of sizing the granules to any desired dimension. The optimum process parameters for control of the average size of the granules is dependent on the nature of the sludge and the final product quality requirements.
More about the granule sizing - control output size
Process conditions control this sizing process more than screens and crushers do, which are sources of excessive dust production and have to be avoided as much as possible. However, to guarantee an even more reliable process performance a crusher and screen for oversized granules will be installed. This will remove items and trash bigger than 10 mm and will sieve granules in size of 5-10 mm that will be crushed to the required size.
